Explore on foot or online
Should you wish to visit our village and beautiful church, please park in the recreation ground car park in School Street. The centre of the village is a short walk where you will find two excellent restaurants.

However, make your first stop the magnificent church. Walk along School Street past many historic houses, to the church entrance. This area was painted and sketched many times by John Constable. From there walk to the centre of the village which has remained relatively unaltered for 500 years.

From here you will find many footpaths that pass through the village and open to fields and woodlands of the Dedham Vale. Walk in the landscape enjoyed so much by Constable and admire the beauty of this unspoilt area of East Anglia.
